Welcome! My name is Aidan Chappell and I am an avid reader, photography geek, and engineer living in San Francisco, California. I received my Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and am currently a Product Design Engineer at Apple. I grew up in Boise, Idaho where I developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Problems related to the three E's of sustainability (Environment, Economy, Equity) lie at the heart of issues I care about.
I have always found comfort in the freedom of expressing my creativity through drawing and building my own vision. My grandfather, a Mechanical Engineer PhD and Soviet refugee, has always served as a role model in my life. Through his success overcoming adversity, he has instilled in me the values of hard work and compassion.
